Recreational Level – Fairhope Soccer League
With the recent merger of Blast Futbol Club and Mobile Soccer Club this past May 2012 and renaming the whole organization to Mobile Bay FC, the FSL Committee has decided to rename the recreational side FSL-Fairhope Soccer League. FSL functions under the Mobile Bay FC organization along with our Blast Academy and our MBFC Travel program. As one organization, there will be unity of effort in implementing our mission. This means more seamless interaction at all levels, maximizing the talents of our coaches and volunteers, and more effective use of our limited resources.
Fairhope Soccer League (FSL) will continue to give players the opportunity to have fun playing soccer, learn fundamentals, and get some good fitness.
The additional benefits for the Recreational Level include:
Coach Advisers for each age group will conduct skills training sessions appropriate to the players’ ages. Coach Advisers will also work with our volunteer coaches to develop age appropriate practice sessions. This will help our coaches feel more comfortable teaching soccer and enable our players to learn key parts of the game earlier in their development.
